The Nerdery Movie Night #10: White Christmas and Garlic Herb Popcorn

Joe hogs delicious popcorn while Dave is mesmerized by a Christmastime technicolor acid trip.

We finished off Garlic Herb popcorn before we remembered to snap a photo!

Dave: White Christmas was like a technicolor acid trip with an Irving Berlin soundtrack. Rosemary Clooney wanted to wash her hair in the snow and her sister ate before bed to drain the blood out of her head. Danny Kaye spent the whole movie dressing up and queening out. Poor Bing Crosby missed out on all the drugs and kept trying to make everyone rehearse a plotless musical. On a positive note, "Count Your Blessings" is featured and it really is a darling little song. (⭐️⭐️)

The popcorn was so simple but delicious. I thought Joe was going to challenge me to a duel over the last of it. (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)

Joe: Three things. #1. White Christmas is an apt title. So. Many. White people. #2. Bing Crosby always looks mildly constipated when he's singing. The bulgy sad-eyes and side mouth don't help. #3. If you were a woman and wanted to be in this film, you had to have an impossibly thin waist. Perhaps to match the impossibly thin plot. I'm still processing the last two hours. Forgive me. (⭐️⭐️)

This popcorn is light, flavorful, and very adult. The garlicky butter sauce perfectly complements the fresh herbs. I'm glad I toned down the salt content, too. This one is definitely a winner - poor Dave probably got 1/4 of the bowl. Sorry, dear (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2)
