Dave and I don't quite mesh with Mommy Blogger popcorn, but we agree: Goldie Hawn is iconic, even in mid production.

Dave: How could a buddy comedy starring Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn not be a home run? The plot could meander and become zanier by the second, the leads could occasionally be outshone by an actor who has exactly zero speaking lines, and the jokes could be hit or miss. When the jokes landed, they were “rewind, I want to watch that again!” hilarious, but there weren’t enough of those to prop up the completely wild plot. Wanda Sykes, Joan Cusack, and Christopher Meloni did what they could to salvage this insane romp - and it almost worked! But even these great comic actors - including Goldie Hawn in rare form - weren’t enough to entirely save this from itself. (️️️⭐️⭐️⭐️1/2)

Whatever Mommy Blog posted this recipe either a) didn’t bother to make it or even read it carefully or b) had a family with taste buds of steel. The smoky, spicy blend was a bit pungent even for me, a guy who loves smoky mezcal and spicy pepper sauce. While it sounds good in theory, this combination in reality is a bit harsh. I can’t imagine it would go over well with the fun/wine mom/Live Laugh Love crowd that are the prime Mommy Blog targets (️️⭐️⭐️1/2)

Joe: Sometimes all you need in life is a movie that makes you feel like you've had a lobotomy. Enter Snatched, a click that is so far from High Art it might as well be in the sub-basement of cinema. Is it culturally tone deaf? Yes. Is it beyond stupid? Also yes. Is Goldie Hawn a goddamned national treasure and I'll punch anyone in the throat who says otherwise? Absolutely. The foundation of this film is so flimsy that a house of cards is sturdy by comparison, but it has a solid laugh ratio and Joan Cusack as a mute retired Special Ops agent manages to snag most of those laughs. Although I can't say I recommend the film, I will say a cocktail or two helps make it way funnier than it has any right to be. (⭐️⭐️⭐️)

Heretofore, I have not been the person to turn to Mommy Blogs for popcorn recipes, but I was casually floundering around on the Interwebz for something savory and stumbled upon this gem. Sure, I altered the recipe: why use rapeseed oil when butter is far better? In fact, I heartily recommend the replacement. Allowing the flavors to sit for thirty minutes before pouring them on the popcorn is a stroke a genius: the chipotle is especially heightened, and it plays nicely with the rosemary and mutes the garlic in a pleasing way. I also added a few generous pinches of salt (also curiously missing from the original recipe), and I have to say the end result was (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️)
